Hello and welcome to Bento’s Blog!
“Where Two World’s Collide”
I thought this a fitting title, especially as I continue realizing the differences between here and Brazil. So much about the two nations clash; from the weather to the various passions to the different languages spoken. And yet all disagreements can be bested by one corresponding passion. One of my goals is to make that passion soccer, and develop it.
Since my arrival to Canada in February 2009, I have found it hard to share my experiences, future goals, plans, and opportunities. Ultimately, everything about me! This is the reason I have created my own web-blog. The blog has been designed in the hope of accommodating everyone.
My posts are focused on letting people know what I have been doing, my thoughts, and my observations. At the end of each week, I will update you on that week’s activities and events. There are also various pages dedicated to specific topics. About Bento starts from the beginning, and summarizes my life from when I first started playing and coaching soccer. Bento CV is literally just my resume. It is merely a record of my work experience. Para minha familia is a page devoted to my loving family and friends.
